Plate Steel Fabrication
Heavy flat-rolled steel 1/4 inch and thicker used for structural, tank, vessel, and heavy equipment fabrication.
Plate steel is flat-rolled steel 0.25 inch (1/4 inch) thick and above, used for heavy structural and industrial fabrication. Common grades include A36, A572-50, A514, and A516-70. Plate is cut by plasma, laser, waterjet, or oxy-fuel and formed by press brakes and plate rolls into tanks, vessels, structural members, and heavy equipment components.
